ArBio is a non-profit association, founded with the aim of researching, fomenting or creating productive conservation mechanisms of the forest ecosystem, in particular the Amazonian ecosystem.
The association was created to promote sustainable development models that allow social and economic coexistence with the Amazon forest, without it being transformed into an extensive agricultural monoculture.
ArBio carries out activities that allow the conservation of the functionality and structure of the Amazonian ecosystem in an area of 1600 hectares in the Tambopata province, Madre de Dios region, Peru. Furthermore, ArBio promotes collaborations and alliances with different local partners, aimed at developing activities that contribute to the creation of biodiversity conservation strategies.
